Mr. Jacobs is a successful entrepreneur in the drug delivery, biotechnology,
medical and chemical industries. He serves as a business advisor to early stage
companies and venture investors.

Dr. Richard Guy |

Richard Guy is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Bath.
Dr. Guy's principal achievements have been made in the areas of skin barrier
function characterization, transdermal drug delivery, enhancement of
percutaneous absorption, iontophoresis, noninvasive biosensing of blood glucose
and other analytes, and the prediction and assessment of skin penetration and
topical bioavailability. Dr. Guy has published more than 200 peer-reviewed
articles and over 70 book chapters. He has co-authored one book and co-edited 7
others. He is also co-inventor of 10 patents. Dr. Guy is an Associate Editor of
the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and serves on several other
editorial advisory boards. He was President of the Controlled Release Society in
2000-01. Dr. Guy serves as a consultant and scientific advisor to several
companies in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and biotechnology industries. Dr. Guy
is an elected fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the American Association
of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and the American Association for the Advancement
of Science.

Dr. Linda Hakes |

Vice President, Pre-clinical Development, Schwarz Pharma AG
Prior to her present position, Dr. Hakes served as Head of Biopharmaceutical
Product Development and Manager of Humatrope Operations and Delivery System at
Eli Lilly Research Laboratories. She holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology from Bath
University, England, and is a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPSGB).
