TransPharma’s
proprietary drug delivery system enables the delivery of a wide variety
of product candidates, including hydrophilic small molecules, peptides
and proteins.
Transdermal delivery of large molecules is
a novel and exciting delivery method. There is no commercial technology
currently available that incorporates high molecular weight drugs into
transdermal patches. By combining our unique ViaDor device with our
proprietary dry form patches into an integrated transdermal
drug
delivery system, we are able to deliver peptide and protein
therapeutics in an accurate, safe and painless manner and with various
blood profiles.
Our current transdermal drug-product
development programs include ViaDor-hPTH (1-34), for the treatment of
osteoporosis, which is in Phase 2B and developed in collaboration with
Eli Lilly, ViaDor-GLP 1 Agonist, a transdermal GLP1
Agonist product for the treatment of Type II Diabetes.
